Cabopino Golf is located at the easternmost end of Marbella facing the Cabopino marina. It features a par 71 18-hole course of 5,170 metres, which was designed by the architect Juan Ligués Creus and gives way to spectacular views of the Mediterranean, as well as to beautiful vegetation with a profusion of magnificent wide-bristle pines.
The layout has three par 3s, two par 5s and thirteen par 4s. The longest hole is number 14, a par 5 of 456 metres with a wide and undulating green protected from front and rear by two lakes. The most spectacular hole is undoubtedly number 3, which according to many is the most beautiful on offer on the Costa del Sol, it is a par 4 with high a high exit and a green which is surrounded by bunkers at a height of about 80 metres. Also, worth highlighting are holes 13, and 15, both par 3s protected by lakes, and hole 10 which has panoramic views of the Mediterranean.
Cabopino is a course on which both players with high handicaps and those who are more experienced have fun. The course also has a Golf School located at the entrance. The school has magnificent facilities with a putting green, bunkers, and approach areas, practice areas on carpet and grass, depending on the level of play. Having a capacity for 30 people, the driving range is 200 metres long and 160 metres wide, with a great variety of distance marks for practising all types of strokes. The school offers all kinds of courses, private classes, special groups for children and ladies, as well as corporate courses.
